The Mairirua operates with a Maritime Operators Certificate and has all the required safety and navigation equipment including depth sounder/fish finder radar and chart plotter.

Well appointed 14.6 metre long comfortable displacement type vessel operates out of Bluff for Blue Cod fishing day trips and overnight adventure charters in the area of Foveaux Strait and Stewart Island. Full kitchen facilities including gas BBQ. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and sugar.
